Once the mixture is made, pour it onto the meat, massage it to assist the penetration of the mixture, and refrigerate it anywhere from two to 24-hours.
Choose the correct skillet.
Choosing your method to cook the steak is just as important – if not more so – than the marinade. You’ll want a pan that is thick-based and heavy-duty, ideally with a non-stick coating. Cast iron skillets or griddles are usually the top choices of experienced chefs. Whatever you do, just make sure that the size fits well with your stovetop and oven, and don’t force too many steaks in the pan at once!
Nail down the oil & dressing.
If you skipped the marinade step, it is now time to dress your steak with sea salt, black pepper, or any other steak seasonings of choice. You should also get your oil ready for frying up your beef!
